Santa Clara has a robust history; its earlier settlers were attracted to the rich soil great for agriculture. Sometime after the early settlers came the Spanish raised the 8th Mission in California. Santa Clara is known as the “Mission City”. Today instead of rich agriculture the city is known for its rich technology, and great diversity. Santa Clara has many high tech giants calling it home; Intel, Sun Microsystems, Agilent Technologies, and Nvidia, just to name a few.
The Santa Clara Missional community group is led by Andrew and his wife Robynne.
The group gathers weekly to encourage one another in the faith. We do this by rallying around the scriptures that were preached the previous Sunday, and tease out the gospel implications we are to live out. We sing together praising the Lord for his grace upon our lives, and we strategize together as we live on mission to reach the lost in our neighborhood.
